Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Neanderthal, etc.

The question has always been present as to why humans kill other humans so readily.

It appears we competed side by side with creatures that were not us but similar to us.

Killing them would be the same as killing an animal.

In warfare and in racism we often define the enemy as “other” meaning non human. If not human, such as a Hun, or Jap, or the Black African or the Jew then it is quite simple to treat them as such.

We saw this in horrific action in Germany with the Jews in WWII.

If someone is” Other” they are not us and a potential threat and in the millions of years of our development this exact situation existed.

Racism and going to war would then be biologically ingrained behaviors.

It is tough to correct those patterns.
