Documents Regarding Thaddeus Kostrubala MD

Northwestern Undergraduate degree. Not shown was the Honor's degree in
Anthropology the first such awarded by Northwestern. I am forever
grateful for the brilliance of F/L/K/ Hsu, Professor of Anthropology
at Northwestern.
The plaque from the physicians of napa state Hospital ended my 4 year
battle with the non MD administrators of that hospital. In the course
of those 4 years I attempted to elevate the spirit of the physicians
(there were 100 of the) in as many was I could. At one point I was
able to obtain 100 white lab coats for them to wear. I was fulfilling
a dying pledge to my father who asked me, knowing I was a
psychiatrist, if I ever wore a white coat. I had been wearing them for
quite a while when doing work in hospitals or runniing clinincs. I
assured him that I did. But, I needed to do more.
Yes, I did finish that Marathon. Certainly not the best one, nor my
personal best...my PB was Seattle a few months earlier at 3 hours 31
minutes and 15 seconds. The AMJA let MD's enter with times slower than
3:30. Note that I finished with 1 minute and 15 seconds short of the
time. I woke up, suddenly, two morning later to realize that I was
wearing no. 115.

During the Seattle Marathon I experienced hypothermia and I now know
the extreme total bodily pain of continuing to run while in that
condition.
My Board Certification taken 3 years after finishing residency.
My becoming a Fellow of the APA. Later I became a Life fellow. But,
the APA decided to change the rules. Initially they said that a Life
fellow no longer had to pay dues. They changed the rules so I just no
longer paid any dues to them after 20 (or was it 25?) years of paying
them.

Besides by that time I no longer could feel aligned with the APA as
they had become a political body espousing all social and liberal
policies.
My original document making me a 2nd. Lt. in the United States Marine
Corps Reserve. I immediately went on duty. The Korean war was in full
bloom.
